Punky Sprouts: Enjoy

I decided that I needed a little visual reminder of my One Little Word...enjoy.

The base of it is one of my favorite Punky Sprouts products, the Punky Playground. Those scallops are just the coolest! Aqua is obviously my favorite color so I used it and then pulled some other fun colors to go with it. I've been dying to use that October Afternoon multicolored paper for ages!!!

I created this cute little cluster of Lil' Seeds and filled in the spaces with enamel dots. It fills in the center of the Lil' Blossom-Lacy just perfectly!

I place my word on a strip of Lil' Stem-Lacey and accented it with some Studio Calico cardstock feathers tied up with salmon colored hemp twine and a piece of sparkly Bossy Joscie flair!

I know that gold is all the rage these days and while I've found the gold love, I still adore silver! That sparkly silver flair inspired all the other silver on this page. I used a silver Sharpie along the edges of the Punky Playground, doodled along the yellow paper with a silver Uniball and edged the aqua paper with a Faber-Castel pen.

I'm going to hang this this happy little piece up in my scrap room where I can see it easily and it can remind me to enjoy!

Baby Cards!

Last weekend was all about the babies for me. We had one baby born on Saturday and a baby shower for another on Sunday!

This first card is for the shower. Little Max is going to make an appearance next month and his shower was soooo wonderful. It was a great group of ladies and my cousin looked so adorable! She has the cutest basketball belly! Sigh, I love it!

This card is for baby Riven, she was born on Saturday and is my third great-niece! I'm sooooo excited to meet her and I'm hoping I can practice my newborn photography skills on her.

Both cards were made by popping up a plain white panel that I stamped the sentiment on and accented with enamel dots. I stamped the elephants twice, once on yellow and then once on either pink or blue. I cut out the baby elephant and glued it to the yellow one and then foam taped them above the sentiment.

Super easy and so sweet! (Bonus points because baby Max's unofficial mascot is the elephant!)

Enjoy!

This year my One Little Word is Enjoy!

I want to...
enjoy the things I have
enjoy this time with my kids
enjoy a healthier body
enjoy less stress by getting rid of clutter
enjoy a clean house
enjoy feeling proud of my appearance

In order to accomplish these lofty aspirations, I've got some mundane goals. :)

1. Make my bed. I feel better about my room and get more done during the day when I make my bed. Crazy, but there you go.

2. Hit the gym at least 3 times a week. I have a really, really, really hard time eating well when I don't go to the gym. I'm not sure why but if I start off the day with a workout, I eat better.

3. Shop less. With less clutter in my closet, getting dressed will be much easier and less stressful. (Especially if those clothes fit the way they should after accomplishing Goal #2.) With less clutter in my house, I'll be able to keep it cleaner...hopefully. With less clutter and fewer products in my scraproom, I'll enjoy being in there more and I'll be able to create more often.

4. Organize! I've got some serious hot spots of clutter in my house that need a good purging and sorting. On top of that, my garage is pretty much full of stuff I've purged from the house and have yet to get rid of. So, cleaning out the garage and our shop is on my list as well.

What are your goals this year? Do you have a One Little Word for 2014?
